Artisticpursuit

It is an online community which pays artists for their original work such as unpublished videos, music, images, literature and games, and also allows fans to discover new artistic talents. It aims to bridge the gap between the artist and its fan and provide a venue for artistic collaboration that might not otherwise be possible.

Subscribers will also receive unlimited downloads of content, and access to social networking options like personal blogs, community forums, a meeting place, e-mail, private messaging, chats and classifieds. They may send personalized greeting cards, and write to "Dr. M" for opinions about love, life and other pursuits. This showed the amount of data and traffic that the Artisticpursuit site had to deal with. But the website was unstructured and was unfit to manage huge database.

Drupal Designs was invovled in the complete re-engineering of the website. It developed theme, graphical assets, and ranking algorithms for rating the content of the site. Thus it provided the much needed framework to manage vast amount of complexity and database.
